Malibu wedding photography at El Matador State Beach -Krystal + Ron

Krystal and Ron came all the way from Hong Kong to shoot their bridal session in California. We went back and forth about what locations they liked and they decided on doing a cliffside bridal shoot at in Malibu. We shot a few photos at the poppy fields in Lancaster before heading to the beach for sunset. El Matador is one of my favorite places to shoot on the beach in Southern California because it looks like Big Sur and it doesn’t take six hours to drive to. When we arrived Krystal and Ron changed into their wedding attire before hiking down to the sand.

Playful Laguna Beach Couple shoot

Lindsey and Shaun have one of the realist love I’ve ever witnessed. They are also the most strong couple I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know and photograph. I won’t get top into it but Shaun had a brain tumor removed two weeks after this shoot and it wasn’t the first time he’s dealt with one. These two are great examples of what it’s like to be someone’s rock. Although they have been through a lot together they always say they come out so much stronger as a unit and it’s the most inspiring love story. I’m so glad we did this session to get their minds off of what was to come. They are absolutely obsessed with each other and it was such a pleasure to capture their authentic love on the beaches of Laguna Beach

Sunset cliffs engagement photos

Holy Moley this couple shoot at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego was so freaking fun! Ashleigh and Brian are the most rad couple ever. They both ride motorcycles so you know we had to incorporate they’re shared interested to make the session more personal. We found a cool spot right on the cliffside to shoot. The wind was totally on our side and brought so much goodness to the photos. Also how cute are these two snuggling up by their bikes?!

Classic truck Couple Shoot in Orange County // Maia + Kevin

Just here to let you know you don’t need to be engaged or married to get photos with your boo! Seriously do it! Make it fun and memorable. That’s what we did with this shoot with Maia and Kevin. We borrowed the cutest classic truck from Sweet Pea Vintage Rentals and headed down to Capistrano beach. I brought pizza for them to share and just enjoy hanging out with each other. Couple photoshoots don’t have to be weird and awkward! We had so much fun chatting and eating pizza and shooting on the beach.
