Playful Laguna Beach Couple shoot

Lindsey and Shaun have one of the realist love I’ve ever witnessed. They are also the most strong couple I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know and photograph. I won’t get top into it but Shaun had a brain tumor removed two weeks after this shoot and it wasn’t the first time he’s dealt with one. These two are great examples of what it’s like to be someone’s rock. Although they have been through a lot together they always say they come out so much stronger as a unit and it’s the most inspiring love story. I’m so glad we did this session to get their minds off of what was to come. They are absolutely obsessed with each other and it was such a pleasure to capture their authentic love on the beaches of Laguna Beach

Motorcycle couple shoot at Sunset Cliffs // Ashleigh + Brian

Holy Moley this couple shoot at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego was so freaking fun! Ashleigh and Brian are the most rad couple ever. They both ride motorcycles so you know we had to incorporate they’re shared interested to make the session more personal. We found a cool spot right on the cliffside to shoot. The wind was totally on our side and brought so much goodness to the photos. Also how cute are these two snuggling up by their bikes?!

Mission San Juan Capistrano engagements // Alex + Eliza

Growing up in Orange County, I would visit the Mission San Juan Capistrano for school and for random trips to marvel at the beautiful architecture. Alex and Eliza decided to their orange county engagement photos at the mission and it’s now my favorite orange county engagement location. The architecture and history makes the photos just so much more beautiful. I think we said “this place is insane!” way more times then I can count.

Winter Newland Barn California wedding

Mckenne and Jake got married in the most beautiful winter wedding at the Newland Barn in Huntington Beach. They didn’t want to do a first look so Mckenne did a dad first look at pacific city and it was the most special moment. The way her and her dad cried when they saw each other melted everyones heart. We took bridesmaid photos here to before we headed over to their wedding venue. All their friends and family filled into the place to witness these two become one. The best wedding day reaction came when Jake saw his bride walk down the isle. I’ve never seen a more sweet first look reaction from a groom. He cried all the way until she met him up at the front.

Rainy San Francisco Wedding

Christine and Sam booked me as their wedding photographer over a year ago. They asked me to come to San Francisco to photograph their church wedding and I couldn’t wait. I got to meet them for the first time at their engagement session at the Sutro Baths over the summer. These two are so sweet and we hit it off right away. They mentioned to me that they are “the most awkward couple” in front of the camera but their love took over and they killed their engagement session. After meeting them I couldn’t wait to see them again at their wedding. At the beginning of the month I headed to the bay area for their wedding. They got married at the church they grew up going to. They started off their ceremony with worship, took communion and Sam washed Christine’s feet. After their ceremony we headed to a barn to hide from the rain

Winter Engagement shoot in Joshua Tree National Park

Dana and Bobby chose Joshua Tree National Park for the engagement shoot location. We drove out there last week and expected the temperatures to be relatively cold but were surprised to find it to be freezing! It was windy and had previously rained the few days before. We drove in and headed to Quail springs to start shooting. I always love how shoots turn out in Joshua Tree so this day was no different. The clouds brought the perfect lighting and their outfits were on point. I had them cuddle up to stay warm as the wind ripped through the desert. I love windy days because it always makes for drama in photos! Dana and bobby were such troopers and trusted me that the freezing temperatures would all be worth it for the photos.
