Breaking down pricing

I think the most confusing thing to new clients and couples who have never had professional photos done, is this: What am I paying for and why are photography prices so high? Let me break it down for you. When you book a professional photographer you aren't just paying for shoot time. We don't pocket hundreds of dollars for an hour session. That money goes toward paying for online gallery hosting, usb drives, shoot time, editing time, editing software, gear costs, website hosting and packaging, to name a few things. Our main goal is for you to absolutely love your photos and be able to access them whenever you would like to.

Wedding pricing breakdown

Wedding pricing is in it's own ball park. Wedding prices include everything that a regular session does but are way more expensive because of how long the day is. For every hour you shoot at a wedding is its own cost and for every hour of shoot time is about 2 hours of editing later on. With every wedding I try different editing methods to speed up the process for all you so you can have your photos back fast and for lower prices but with quality editing.

Session Advice

The following is some advice to make sure you get the most out of your photo session with me. Always plan your session for the hour after sunrise or the hour before sunset. These are the "golden hours" and makes for the best time to photograph. If you want to shoot at the beach I suggest a session during the week because the weekends are crowded, not only with tourists but with other sessions going on. I can always edit people out of photos but you won't always get desired spots to shoot at. I also find meeting up with clients before hand can make a big difference. Meeting up before your session allows us to get to know each other and allows you to be more comfortable around me. It also gives you the chance to tell me your ideas & expectations. I'm always down to see your pinterest boards for reference but not re creates.
