Rachel & Andrew Engagements

It was so much fun shooting engagements at Sunset Cliffs with Rachel & Andrew, who were in town from Kentucky. We started the session at the old Point Loma lighthouse and then headed to sunset cliffs as the sun set over the ocean. We scored with the prettiest golden light! We laughed and hiked around the cliffs, finding the best shot spots. These two definitely made my job super easy with their good looks and fun personalities. Super excited for these two to tie the knot!

Robyn & Cesar

Robyn & Cesar where such troopers! We met at crystal cove and it was raining. We checkout out the beach and decided to go for it because they where only in town for a few days. Walking down the beach against the wind and rain made it feel like we where in a hurricane. By the time we got to the place we wanted to shoot, we where all soaked. Robyn and Cesar made the best of it and we had so much fun shooting up and down the stormy beach. Robyn had mentioned in her email that she suffers from alopecia and wanted to do some photos without her wig as well. I was so amazed by her story and loved seeing her beauty and confidence without her wig. She was glowing! I loved shooting with these two and I'm truly grateful for clients vulnerability and willingness to share their stories with me. Robyn & Cesar where awesome and I'm obsessed with these photos!

Jen & Devin Joshua Tree Elopement

A few months ago I planned an instagram giveaway and Jen entered. I was so excited that she won! When I emailed her to let her know she had won, she responded with photos of her and her dad in Joshua tree. She had mentioned that she grew up camping in Joshua tree with her family and that it held so many fond memories. I was also in the process of putting together a styled shoot so when she asked if we could make it an elopement, I was so excited. We met in the park and did a first look before heading out to shoot some more. These two where naturals and the lighting was incredible! I had such a fun time shooting and getting to hang with this rad couple. We even got some shots with their 1 year old and I melted. I live for stories and shoots like this!

Katherine & Jack Yosemite Elopement

When I met Katherine and Jack I immediately knew we where going to have an awesome time. We scouted the ceremony spot under the raging bridal veil falls the day before and took in all the beautiful scenery. The next morning they picked me and we headed into the park. Katherine & Jack decided on doing their first look in Cooks meadow. The view was insane! Their first look was so special. The look on Jack's face when he saw his bride for the first time was priceless. Also, when he twirled her around?! Ahhhh the best! We shot some more photos in the meadows before heading to Bridal Veil for their ceremony. They included their closest family and friends to the ceremony to hear their vows. Under the trees and mist from the waterfall, Katherine and Jack said their vows to each other. I think we all forgot how cold it was because we where all feeling the emotion of their words. It was absolutely beautiful and intimate. After the ceremony we got to shoot under the waterfall before heading to tunnel view. I love when my couples are adventurous enough to stand on a ledge to get those epic shots. At the end of the morning, I was so sad to be done shooting! I will forever remember how beautiful this day was!

Emilie & Troy Engagement session

I met Emilie at at her best friend's wedding last year. We kept in touch and I was so excited for her when she got engaged to the love of her life! I was overjoyed when she told me she wanted me to shoot their wedding this summer. These two have so much love for each other it's really awesome and inspiring. For their engagement session we went down the street from their house to San Onofre beach. They played around in the sand and made jokes as the sun went down. We laughed for the entire hour and it was the absolute best. I'm obsessed with these two and how sweet they are. I can't wait to capture their wedding this July!

Hannah & Louis San Louis Obispo Wedding

Hannah & Louis' wedding will forever be one of my favorites. These two put so much of their personal style into all the details of the day. They said I do in a garden outside an old victorian style house. The bride wore an off the shoulder Grace Loves Lace dress while the groom wore a Zara suit. After the ceremony we snuck away to the fields that surrounded the ranch. We ran around and got some great shots as the moon came up. We then headed back to the barn where the reception was taking place. The barn was lit up with little twinkle lights. Once inside we all enjoyed pizza and donuts before heading to the dance floor. Everyone danced the night away! Congrats to these two! I'm still dreaming of all the vintage accents they had

Mckenna & Jake Huntington Beach Wedding

Mckenna and Jake got married at the cutest little venue in Huntington Beach , CA. Jake's reaction to his bride coming down the isle had us all in tears! They said their vows as the sun was setting in the background. At the reception everyone danced the night away and ate donuts from the donut bar. This was a day filled with love, Jesus and a whole lot of emotions. I loved being apart of their amazing day! Congrats you two!
